Meet the Founder

“My earliest memory of feeling complete freedom and awe for the world around me was at the age of 14 years kayaking down the Franklin River in Tasmania with a tent, and food supplies to last a week alongside my classmates. The simplicity of life waking up, packing the tent, paddling alongside a pod of dolphins, not seeing other people for seven days, cooking around a fire, sleep and repeat brought so much joy and feelings of contentment.

Since my teen years, I travelled the world, completed a University degree and started working full-time in the Community Service sector. I started to feel a deep sense of dissatisfaction with life, questioning my purpose and feeling trapped in the Western expectations of how life ‘should look’. I decided to get uncomfortable, quit my ‘9 am-5 pm’ gig and enrolled in CIV in Outdoor Recreation which was the start of an awakening journey. I learnt and played in nature 7 days a week for almost 10 months. I connected with nature on a level that I had never before, found my tribe, and pushed myself to overcome fears and explore the unknown in nature. This is when I discovered rock climbing. It was love at first sight.

Exploring cliffs and boulders awakened my soul like nothing before. The mix of pushing my comfort zone mentally, physically and emotionally on cliffs is still to this day the most exhilarating type of play for me. The rock pushes me to hone in on my skills and challenges me to become the best version of myself. I then discovered the freedom that can be found in Breathwork/Meditation practices. I became an accredited Meditation Facilitator which has given me tools to find my purpose, align myself with my true nature and live in flow. This is a never-ending journey in which I am so grateful to be playing in.

Now that I have discovered the freedom, health and happiness that is found in nature, adventure and meditation practices in a way that’s compatible with modern living. My mission is to share all that I’ve learned and continue to learn with as many people as possible so that they can experience it too. I hope you’ll join me on this liberating journey”. Dominique
